1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
6 separated eggs
Whip egg whites until stiff. In separate bowl, beat yolks. Add butter and vanilla. Add flour, salt, and fresh buttermilk. Beat until creamy. Fold in egg whites.
Accompany with fresh berries and whipped cream or butter and syrup.
