RUM CAKE:
1 box yellow cake mix (I use butter recipe)
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup rum
4 eggs
1/2 cup pecans (optional)
pour pecans in bottom of greased and floured bundt pan.Combine all other ingredients. Mix well. Pour batter over nuts and bake in 350 degree oven for 50 - 55 minutes (till toothpick comes out clean). Remove from oven, pour glaze over and let cool in pan.Flip out onto plate when completely cool.
GLAZE RECIPE:
Melt one stick of butter in small saucepan
add 1 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of rum
boil two minutes and pour around sides of cake while still in pan.
