Meyer Family Chocolate Fingers

CHOCOLATE FINGERS

1/4 cup butter (1/2 cup)

3 Tb. cocoa, (6 Tb.) melt on stove

Beat 3 (6) eggs slightly, add 1 (2) cup sugar, chocolate mixture, 3/4 (1 1/2 ) cup flour,

1 level (2) teas. baking powder, pinch salt, 1 teas. (2) vanilla

1/2 (1) cup chopped pecans.

Bake in shallow(6"x9") pan (for single recipe) 25 30 min.

325 degree - moderate oven

Cut in stripes and roll in powdered sugar
